Micasa Hostels is a backpacker hostel dedicated to serving travellers from across the world and is a shared community space, not a hotel.
By making a reservation, checking in or entering the premises, guests agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions and all reasonable directions of the management.
Micasa Hostels reserves the right to amend these policies without prior notice.
Micasa Hostels reserves the right to admission.

Guests must be 18 years or above and not more than 40 years of age.
As Micasa Hostels is a backpacker hostel dedicated to serving travellers across the globe, every guest, including Indian nationals, must present a valid original Passport at the time of check-in.
The name on the reservation must match the identification produced at check-in.
Failure to produce the required identification may result in refusal of check-in.

Reservations are confirmed only upon receipt of full payment.
Prepayment is mandatory for all walk-in reservations.
Micasa Hostels follows a dynamic pricing policy.
Booking-specific conditions shall apply where communicated at the time of reservation.
Stay extensions are subject to availability and shall be processed only through www.micasahostels.com or at the reception.

Only one OTA reservation is permitted for one continuous stay.
Guests travelling together shall not make separate or multiple OTA reservations for the same period of stay.
Multiple or overlapping OTA reservations may be cancelled and converted into a direct reservation at the prevailing tariff.
Stay extensions through OTAs are not permitted.

Reservations are personal and non-transferable.
The named guest must personally check in.
Reservations may not be made in another person's name without prior approval.
Where payment has been made using another person's card, the cardholder may be required to be present for verification.
Micasa Hostels reserves the right to refuse check-in or cancel a reservation where identity, payment or security verification cannot be satisfactorily completed, in which case the applicable cancellation policy shall apply.

For refundable bookings, free cancellation is permitted up to 72 hours before the standard check-in time.
Cancellations thereafter shall attract the applicable cancellation charges.
No-shows shall be treated as cancelled reservations.
Applicable refunds shall be processed after deducting payment gateway charges, taxes and administrative charges.

The following bookings are strictly non-refundable and non-modifiable:

Promotional or discount code bookings.
Pre-approved group bookings.
Bookings between 15 December and 27 January.
Monthly and semi-monthly accommodation packages.
Reservations specifically marked as Non-Refundable.
Such bookings may attract cancellation charges of up to 100% of the booking value.

Group bookings are accepted only with prior approval from Micasa Hostels.
Approved group bookings shall be made only through www.micasahostels.com and not through any OTA.
A refundable security deposit and ID deposit may be required before check-in.
Group leaders shall be responsible for ensuring compliance with hostel policies.
Management reserves the right to cancel or terminate any group booking whose conduct adversely affects other guests or the property.

Beds are allocated on a first-available basis.
Guests shall occupy only the bed assigned to them.
Occupying any other bed without permission may attract additional charges.
Management reserves the right to reallocate guests where operationally required.
Dormitories are shared accommodation and shall not be treated as private rooms unless expressly approved.

Visitors are permitted only in the reception area until 6:00 PM.
Visitors are not permitted inside dormitories or guest accommodation.
Guests shall not bring outsiders into the hostel without prior permission from the management.

Alcohol may be consumed only in the designated terrace area.
Consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited between 12:00 Midnight and 12:00 Noon.
Smoking is permitted only in designated smoking areas.
Illegal drugs are strictly prohibited.
Disorderly, abusive or unsafe behaviour may result in immediate removal without refund.

Guests shall respect the privacy, dignity and belongings of fellow travellers.
Entry into an unassigned dormitory or bed is strictly prohibited.
Micasa Hostels maintains zero tolerance towards harassment, intimidation or inappropriate behaviour.
Any conduct that causes discomfort, fear or insecurity to another guest, especially women travellers, shall be treated seriously.
Where the management reasonably believes that a guest's conduct compromises the safety, dignity, privacy or comfort of another guest or staff member, the guest may be required to leave immediately without refund.
Serious incidents may be reported to the appropriate authorities.

Guests are responsible for their personal belongings.
Micasa Hostels shall not be responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal property.
Guests shall be liable for any damage caused to hostel property or excessive cleaning costs arising from misuse.
The management reserves the right to recover repair, replacement or cleaning charges.

By making a reservation, checking in or entering the premises, guests acknowledge that they have read, understood and agreed to abide by these Terms & Conditions and House Rules.
